Some companies will collect your documents, and on sell your paper to a paper merchant who will bale it and pulp it at a later stage. Your documents could sit in a storage yard for weeks or months. Always ask for a certificate of destruction this is your guarantee that your documents have been shredded, if this is not provided your documents have not been shredded. Be aware – Visitation.
